The fact that these chests are doing 999 damage undoubtedly makes this quest more difficult but if you’re still able to do normal damage to -them-, then it’s not impossible. Because that would be the quest at an end-game status, and what’s the point of collecting all these cool, great, armors once you’ve beaten the game? I wouldn’t think that the game is trying to say that you need to be a super high level to clear the quest. So what armor you do wear doesn’t matter in regards to health and/or defense boosts. Well unfortunately, unless something else has changed within the game, the method to defeat them remains virtually the same – except now you can’t get hit at all. Make sure you rest up at their village to save your location. If the mischievous nature of the three cats doesn’t tip you off, you’re in for a rough go, despite the quest’s level requirement. There you’ll be given a quest to check out a cave for the secret to the golden chests in Cat Quest. Directly South of the town, and across the water, is the island that has the quest you want. Once you have Water Walking, head South back down to the starting village.
